The Melville Caves named after the infamous Bush Ranger Captain Melville are actually huge
granite fissures which have formed in the weathered granite. Large boulders and split sections of
granite make up the area with beautiful views once you make the climb to the top.
Walking in the same area a famous Bush Ranger once used as a hide out is well worth the climb
to the top and back again. Wear good shoes and take a drink with you.
