Maryborough located in Victoria is one of the former gold mining towns that
have progressed with leaps and bounds into a bustling town of opportunity
offering employment opportunities and growth for the region.
Many historic buildings can still be found in amongst the town and its spread
out well so there’s plenty to explore and see. A mixture of old and new you still
get the feel of the wealth from the gold mining era.
Nice architecture can be seen on many of the main buildings and railway
station and there’s plenty to do if you like shopping and exploring historic
towns. The town is surrounded by very popular gold detecting areas and there
are many things to do in an area such as this.
