Maldon

Maldon located in Victoria is like stepping back in time back to the old gold
mining era. The town has been tastefully restored with a host of variety stores
catering for tourism visitors.

Nearly every building is period style heritage and has a warm and inviting feel
about it. It’s like stepping back in time and being part of a long gone era. The
town and whole area was a gold mining district and no doubt in its time it was a
bustling town.

Today the gold mining is scarce but the town remains as a reminder of how it
was and its certainly one of Australia’s most unique gold mining towns to see in
a very original condition. Well worth a visit you can spend a day or so in the
area exploring the district and just relaxing in this most unique place.
