Australian Currency
Australia changed from pounds shillings and pence in 1966 to the current
decimal currency system. Many of our pre-decimal coins had a silver
content in them. Many of our current decimal coins have had various
different motifs changed on them over the years making them collectible by
many. The notes also changed from a paper type to the current plastic type.
